Greige fabric
Unfinished fabric, straight off the loom or knitting machine.
Greige (or grey) goods have not been dyed or finished. They are cheaper and faster to supply, which is why stock greige qualities are the usual way to order below MOQ.
Weight quoted on greige is not the finished weight: dyeing and finishing can move it by 5–10%. Confirm which basis the price is quoted on.
