French terry
A knit with loops on the inside, lighter than fleece.
French terry has unbrushed loops on the inside and a smooth face. It absorbs moisture and drapes softly, which makes it the usual choice for loungewear and mid-weight sweatshirts.
Typical weight is 240–320 gsm. It is often confused with fleece, but the inside is looped rather than brushed.
