WBWeft Bridge

Weft

The crosswise yarns in a woven fabric.

Weft yarns are inserted across the warp, from selvedge to selvedge. Shade variation along the weft — side-to-side shading — is a common dyeing defect and is hard to cut around.

“Weft” is also where the phrase “weft and warp” comes from, and it is the root of the brand name Weft Bridge.
